Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 8, 2026. This policy explains how SodaPages handles information submitted through the directory and its request forms.

Information we collect

SodaPages collects the information a person provides through Add Your Business, Claim a Listing, Contact, Advertise or Partner, correction, and removal-request workflows. Depending on the request, that may include a name, email address, phone number, job title, relationship to a business, business name, address, website, service area, products or services, supporting explanation, an uploaded business image, ownership evidence, or a location roster. Basic technical signals may also be used to limit abuse and duplicate submissions.

Public and private information

Business information intended for a directory profile—such as a business name, public address, public phone, public email, website, categories, service area, products, services, and authorized images—may become public only after review. Submitter contact details, ownership evidence, internal review notes, duplicate-check results, and correspondence are treated as private operational information unless the submitter separately authorizes publication.

How information is used

Submitted information is used to review proposed listings, identify possible duplicates, verify claims, process corrections or removal requests, respond to inquiries, evaluate partnership interest, protect the service from abuse, keep review records, and communicate about a request. A submission is not published automatically, and a claim does not automatically transfer control of a profile.

Storage and email processing

Form records, claim assignments, account roles, and review events are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Authorized image uploads, ownership evidence, and submitted location rosters are stored in Cloudflare R2. SodaPages uses Resend to send internal notifications and receipt confirmations. These service providers process information on behalf of SodaPages to operate the requested workflow.

Sharing

SodaPages shares information with service providers only as needed to host the site, store submissions and uploads, deliver transactional email, maintain security, and operate directory-review workflows. Public business information may be displayed in approved listings. SodaPages does not state that it sells personal information, and this policy does not claim use of advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, or analytics that are not part of the current implementation.

Retention and security

Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for operational review, legal obligations, security, dispute handling, and recordkeeping. The appropriate period depends on the request and is not represented as a fixed term. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your requests

To ask about personal information associated with a submission, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable, email info@sodapages.com. Include enough information to locate the request. SodaPages may need to verify identity or authority before acting.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
